STRENGTHENING SCHOOL NUTRITION TOGETHER: FALL 2025 CONFERENCE RECAP

This fall, our team connected with school nutrition professionals across Kentucky, Ohio, Florida, Michigan, and Indiana — engaging in expos, round tables, and networking events that sparked valuable conversations, strengthened partnerships, and showcased our services. From lively game nights to buzzing expo halls, each conference offered meaningful opportunities to build relationships and support SFAs.

KENTUCKY

Consultant Becky Lowry (R), KY

The Kentucky School Nutrition Association’s Manager's Conference had 130 attendees.  Consultant Becky Lowry represented ProTeam as we participated in the Industry Partner round table event, where we were able to spend a few minutes with each group of managers to network and promote our services. Becky noted we had tons of fun participating in the industry partner sponsored game night.

OHIO

The 2025 SNA of Ohio Expo & Education Event, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Education, was held in Newark, Ohio, September 30-October 1. Consultants Reginald A. Ross and Rebecca Lowry represented ProTeam at the conference, where more than 100 vendors from various industries presented their products and services.  

There were over 200 attendees at the conference who in addition to attending the Expo, had the opportunity to attend education sessions and training.  During the Expo, we were able to share information with directors and managers about the services that ProTeam provides. 

Consultants Sarah Carlson & Lora Gilbert, FL

FLORIDA

ProTeam’s Lora Gilbert, Reginald Ross, and Sarah Carlson represented our team at the FSNA Annual Conference and Expo October 23-25. The group shared information about ProTeam’s breadth of spatial and facility design capabilities, including photos from the successful redesign of Boone High School from Lora’s time as Sr. Director of Nutrition Services for Orange County Public Schools.

Consultants Colette Tyler & Reginald Ross, IN

INDIANA

The Indiana School Nutrition Association Annual Conference was held in French Lick, IN at the beautiful and historical French Lick Springs Hotel from November 5-7. The conference was well attended and buzzing with excitement. ProTeam’s Reginald Ross and Colette Tyler represented us during the expo and had many great conversations with directors, managers, and dietetic interns!

MICHIGAN

The MDE-SNAM Annual Conference was held in Battle Creek, MI from November 6-9, and brought Michigan schools together to continue advocating for school meals. The state of Michigan has made it a priority to ensure students get nutritious meals during the school day. ProTeam’s Sarah Carlson attended on behalf of the SPARC cooperative.
