Beverly Glaze, MS, RD, LD, Consultant

Beverly is a Registered Dietitian with more than 18 years of experience in child and community nutrition. She served as a Child Nutrition Director in West Virginia for over 10 years and spent an additional 8 years as an Extension Specialist for EFNEP and SNAP-Ed, helping families build healthier lifestyles through nutrition education.

Most recently, Beverly worked as an Implementation Consultant for a child nutrition software company, where she partnered with school districts to support all aspects of child nutrition operations, including menu planning, production records, central kitchen management, and point-of-service systems. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at a local community college, teaching Diet Therapy to future nurses.

What I love about my work:

One of the most rewarding parts of my career is seeing joy in a school cafeteria, especially when students discover a new favorite menu item or enjoy a longtime favorite. Watching the connections between cafeteria staff and students’ highlights the important role school nutrition programs play in supporting student well-being and success.

Fun Fact:
I am a certified Pilates instructor. When I’m not working in my garden, you can usually find me enjoying a variety of crafts and DIY projects.
